Nearly 10 Years into Marriage, and Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Still Make Each Other Laugh

They know how to lift each other up and make one another feel blessed. They are the golden couple of Hollywood, after all.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been on the radar right from the time they started dating. This attractive pair is easy on the eyes and funny too. Their jokes, sometimes at each other's expense, have gone viral multiple times and this humor is perhaps what keeps this young Hollywood couple bonded.

They met on the sets of a superhero film Green Lantern and the rest is history. They recently announced that they are expecting their third child.

“We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl — and that was, like, the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across," Ryan said, according to US magazine. This was the start of their something new.

They began as friends and eventually fell in love, head over heels. “I remember it was funny, because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff, we were both single,” he said. “I think the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends," he added. And, this is one thing both of them agree on.

Speaking to Glamour magazine, Blake, the former Gossip Girl star, said, "In other relationships, if something came up I would call my girlfriends or my sister, and say, 'Hey, this is what he did – what should I do?' Whereas with him, we were friends for two years before we were ever dating. And I treat him like my girlfriend."

The couple never stop gushing about each other either. Their mutual respect, love, and loyalty is apparent in the way they describe each other. This is a couple that doesn't shy away from showing their love to one other. According to Hello Magazine, Ryan told Humans of New York, "She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy. She'll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old. And she's made me a more empathetic person. I had a very fractured relationship with my father. Before he died, she made me remember things I didn't want to remember. She made me remember the good times."

And, that's not all. They are also the funniest and goofiest people to be around. Both were the youngest in their big families and it shows. They probably used their humor to get the attention from others and now it seems to be serving their relationship very well indeed.

However, Blake is no less. She too used for social media to add some humor into our lives. She once posted a photo of John Legend performing with Ryan blocking the view.

“Congratulations to the most influential person in my life. The best man I know… you deserve this @time 100 honor … “ she wrote, according to Cheatsheet. “If only my husband wasn’t blocking you in this shot. I’m so sorry @johnlegend.”

Blake is not only the woman of his dreams but also a great mom to their two daughters. She said: "I would do anything to protect them. I would literally die for them without a moment's thought. I mean if you think of what you would do for your child, I don't think there's anything you wouldn't ask yourself."

It is this fierceness of hers that makes Ryan fall in love with her over and over again.

“I’m not one for vomiting declarations of sentiment out across the airwaves," Ryan said to David Letterman in 2015 after the birth of his first child. "But when we had that baby, I fell more in love with my wife than I’d ever been in my entire life. I couldn’t even believe it.”

Clearly, it's a solid relationship, one meant to last all the way, till death does them part.
