Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively welcomed their fourth child in February 2023.
Ryan Reynolds is opening up about his experience as a parent of four children with his wife Blake Lively. The Deadpool actor discussed how it feels to be parents to four children now that the couple welcomed their newest child while already having kids James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3. After Lively published a picture sans her baby belly, it was discovered that Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively had welcomed their fourth child in February 2023 as reported by ET Canada.
Reynolds joked to Hoffman in an exclusive word with the outlet, “I haven’t met any of them yet, but they seem great. They have a private Instagram account that I follow. You know, two to three was a huge jump… three to four less so. I cannot speak for my wife, but it’s just from what I’ve observed. But, we love it. You know, we would be idiots to do this again if we didn’t love it,” shared the star about how he feels to have four kids with the love of his life. Reynolds reacted when the host revealed that he had previously stated his desire for a large family, “I come from four, Blake comes from five. Both of us are the youngest,” he said.
“Everybody’s doing great. Everybody’s actually doing fantastic. If we hadn’t figured it out by now, I think we’d be in deep, deep trouble,” he added as he shared about the plans to raise the new member in the family of three siblings. Since they were married in 2012, the pair have tended to keep their kids out of the public eye. In a February 13 interview on CNBC's Power Lunch, Reynolds gave a quick update on his expanding family. The actor withheld the baby's name and sex, though.

Reynolds said in November that he and Lively were unaware of the gender of their then-unborn child when making an appearance on TODAY. In the past, the Gossip Girl actor shared how she felt uncomfortable sharing details of her children and herself when paparazzi go beyond their boundaries to click and record them. In an Instagram post, Lively shared a series of her images chilling with her family and flaunting her baby bump. The caption drew the attention of netizens which addressed the lack of privacy in the lives of celebrities and how as doting parents the couple takes care of it.
“Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a 🦄 sighting will leave me alone,” read the caption. “You freak me and my kids out. Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications that share photos of children. You have all the power against them. And thank you to the media who have a “No Kids Policy”. You all make all the difference 🙏♥️. Much love! Xxb” it further read as Lively thanked her responsible fans.
