Although Jesse James left the actress in pieces after the divorce, Bryan came along and healed her.
"So... when are we going to hear wedding bells?" is one of the many questions that every couple faces when they've been with each other for a long time. While some take the leap, others wait for the right time. It's the same with our beloved celebs as well. In an industry where actors and actresses get married and divorced like the ever-changing weather, there are some who take their time, like Sandra Bullock and long-time boyfriend, Bryan Randall.
Even though the couple has been together for six years now, they don't seem to be in a hurry to cement their relationship. A source told Us Weekly, “They’re totally open to getting married down the line but there’s no pressure on either side. [It’s] more of an acknowledgment that they’re lucky to have each other and that it doesn’t take a piece of paper or formality to ensure happiness.”
Fair enough. The Blind Side actress who is a mother to son Louis, 10, whom she adopted just before her painful divorce from ex-husband Jesse James, has been dating the model-turned-photographer Bryan Randall since 2015. The couple even adopted daughter Laila, 8, together.
According to the insider, the couple is not completely against the idea of tying the knot because Bullock "has been open to friends about how she’d love to make this official one day.” Randall too agrees that marriage would be "cool" not just for them but “for the kids as well.” However, whenever they do decide to take the huge step, it would "be an intimate affair. Nothing too splashy or fancy, just a couple dozen of their closest friends and family at a location wedding in rural California or by a lake in Texas,” added the source.
For Bullock, the journey to finding peace wasn't easy. According to E! News, the Speed actress was shattered after her husband's betrayal and then the divorce that followed. "Life after Jesse [James] was really tough. She was embarrassed by what he did and in ways blamed herself at the time (she knows now it wasn't her at all)," a source revealed.
"She did consider Jesse a father to Louis, so that was one of the hardest parts of breaking up. Jesse was there for her through the whole adoption process. She now knows she is much better off and everything happens for a reason," added the source.
However, discovering the importance of personal and emotional space not only helped her to "let go of what happened in the past" and move on, but also to get to the "top of her game at work." The insider believes that Bullock is "more in love now" with Randall than she ever was because he's "a great man that loves her and her kids unconditionally...It took Sandy some time to actually open up to a man, trust, and love again."
Back in 2018, Bullock revealed that her kids find Randall more fun and so if the rumors are to be believed, the kids want the adorable couple to walk down the aisle as soon as possible, reported Micky.com. “He and Laila both call Bryan ‘dad’ already. And they really want them to get married. Laila because she loves all things wedding and Louis because he wants to know Bryan’s here to stay,” a source revealed.
As per the insider, Randal has transformed himself into “the model stepfather in every way” and wants to raise more kids with the 56-year-old actress. “They’re open to having more kids, too, but again it’s not front and center of their agenda. Things are busy enough with what they have…Their future is incredibly positive and exciting and Sandra still has to pinch herself at times to check it’s for real, not a fairytale she’s dreaming in her sleep,” disclosed the source.
Just like us the insider also believes that the couple is just "perfect. They have been both working so it was hard for them to see each other as often as they normally do, but while Sandra works Bryan helps out with the kids. He is like the kids' dad. He is a great guy and makes Sandra really happy."
If that doesn't shout "marriage" we wonder what will. Well, no matter what we say, it's all up to the lovely pair to decide, and honestly, we cannot wait for the day they finally make the announcement.
