Their dinner date included multiple bowls of caviar on ice and two martinis with four olives in each glass.
Sarah Michelle Gellar had a lovely birthday dinner with the love of her life. On their dinner date, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Gellar delighted in excellent company and caviar. The 47-year-old She's All That star enjoyed a romantic date night in Los Angeles, presumably in honor of Gellar's 46th birthday on April 14. According to PEOPLE, the second picture Gellar published online shows their dining experience at Caviar Kaspia LA, which included multiple bowls of caviar on ice and two martinis with four olives in each glass that was shared by Gellar on her social media platform of Instagram.

"Best dinner with the best date," reads the caption of the sweet post shared by the star on her birthday. On the set of the horror movie, I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997, the Scooby-Doo co-stars got acquainted. But it wasn't until a few years later, during an unintentional date, that the former co-stars developed a deeper relationship. After being married at a resort in Mexico in 2002, the couple had their first child, a daughter named Charlotte Grace, in 2009 and their second child, a son named Rocky James, in 2012.
Her Buffy the Vampire slayer castmates Michelle Trachtenberg and Emma Caulfield as well as Lindsay Price, who co-starred with the Wolf Pack actress and producer in All My Children, sent birthday greetings to the actor on her day of birth. In honor of Gellar's birthday, Shannen Doherty also published a series of goofy Instagram photos.
Gellar previously made light of the fact that she dislikes being constantly reminded of her age by Buffy fans earlier this year. On the Graham Norton Show, she disclosed, "People love to remind me that it [has been] 20 years. I love that people still reference it — but I don't need the actual date and passage of time, so people realize how old I am!" as she recalled how her fans still love her, per PEOPLE.
The actress in an exclusive word with PEOPLE, also revealed how she spends quality time with her loving husband Freddie. Gellar attributes their long-lasting union to their ability to be conscious and present with one another. "Take the 10 minutes – put the phone down. Have a cup of coffee together. Walk the dog at the end of the night. Read a story with your kids. Make the most of the time that you have. We are all pulled in so many directions, so make sure that, whichever one you are focusing on, you're present," she said.

In an exclusive word with New Beauty, the actor shared the one piece of advice she would give her younger self would be to “wish I stopped and enjoyed it all so much more.” The actor added, “I was so focused on work and what the next job was when I was younger. I was always go, go, go and next, next, next. I was always asking: “What’s coming now?” I never really stopped to enjoy and appreciate how lucky I was.”
