"Until they steal your clothes, make up and skin products but whatever she cute," she joked.
Selena Gomez is opening up about her relationship with her 9-year-old sister Gracie Elliot Teefey. Sharing a couple of throwback photos of the two in a swimming pool, she wrote that there is "nothing, absolutely nothing like a sister's love." She then jokingly added, "Until they steal your clothes, makeup and skin products but whatever she cute," concluding the post with a smiling hearts emoji.
Gomez has gushed about her younger sister several times in the past. She even brought her along as a date at the 2023 Golden Globes Red Carpet. The 30-year-old actress was nominated for her role in Only Murders in the Building in the best performance by an actress in a television series (musical or comedy) category at the 80th Golden Globes in January.

It was adorable to see her 9-year-old sister as her Golden Globes date with the two of them all glammed up. The last time the two attended an event together was in 2019 for the Hollywood premiere of Frozen 2 where the siblings wore matching ensembles. "Honestly, it was the coolest feeling," the Wizards of Waverly Place star later said during an interview on BBC One's music show Sounds after Gracie, joined her for the premiere. "I said to her, 'This is my favorite carpet I have ever done.' Because she's never done any of that and we didn't force her to do that. Everything we do … to keep her safe, but my sister's become very dramatic now. She's all about the dresses, and the glitter," she added.
Gomez has been through many struggles recently in terms of both her physical and her mental health. According to PEOPLE, in 2015 the Lose You To Love Me musician announced her lupus diagnosis. She is also living with bipolar disorder, reports Rolling Stone.
More recently, Gomez has responded to hurtful comments about her weight after appearing at the Golden Globes. "My medications are important, and I believe that they're what helps me," she told fans during a candid live stream on Twitter. "[When I'm taking it, I] tend to hold a lot of water weight, and that happens very normally. When I'm off of it, I tend to lose weight," explained Gomez on a video-sharing platform. "I just wanted to say and encourage anyone out there who feels any sort of shame for exactly what they're going through, and no one knows the real story."
In her video, she continued, "I just want people to know that you're beautiful, and you're wonderful. Yeah, we have days where maybe we feel like s***, but I would rather be healthy and take care of myself."
