It looks like 'The Talk' alum is doing much better and getting ready for Christmas.
Sharon Osbourne shared an update on her recent medical scare. The 70-year-old experienced an unspecified medical emergency on the set of her son's ghost-themed TV show, Jack Osbourne's Night of Terror, and had to be rushed to the hospital. It looks like The Talk alum is doing much better and getting ready for Christmas. Posting a photo of her husky Elvis in front of a Christmas tree on her Instagram page, she assured fans, "Back home and doing great! Thank you for all the ❤️ 🥰."
The incident took place at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California, around 6:30 p.m. local time on Friday when emergency workers were called. The owners of Glen Tavern, Aishah Sing and mother Rosanna Jennett, told PEOPLE that Sharon was guest starring on an episode of her son's show Jack Osbourne's Night of Terror when the medical emergency occurred. “She has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home,” Jack Osbourne said in an Instagram story. “As to what happened to my mum — I’m gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready.”
The Osbourne family has been through several health challenges over the years. In 2020 Sharon's husband rocker Ozzy Osbourne, the frontman of the metal band Black Sabbath revealed that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease which affects the motor and cognitive abilities of a person. In an interview with Good Morning America, the musician said that he canceled tours at the time because of his health issues. Sharon Osbourne revealed that it was a type of Parkinson's called PRKN2 and reassured that the diagnosis “was not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination,” but he had good and bad days.
The ordeal has been heavy in the family's hearts. The pair have been through so much together including COVID-19. In June of this year, Sharon revealed she was heading to Los Angeles to be by her husband's side while he went through a significant surgery. Ozzy admitted that his wife has been a strong pillar of strength through it all. In fact, he has said that he is alive only because of his wife, and for that, he is forever grateful to her. If not for her, he would have already been dead, he revealed during an interview with the Independent. This year, they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, having tied the knot in 1982. The 74-year-old also shared the secret to his long-lasting marriage with Sharon Osbourne. “Love, I suppose,” the musician answered. “If it wasn’t for Sharon, I’d be dead.”
