The new paperwork acknowledged Allison as Stephen's surviving spouse and gave her "property passing" rights.
After the adored dancer Stephen "tWitch" Boss passed away without leaving a will, Allison Holker Boss has been given half of her late husband's artistic earnings. According to court records acquired by PEOPLE, Allison's request for the Spousal Property Petition she filed earlier this year received official approval from a judge from the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles County on April 28.
Although California law states that a surviving spouse is entitled to half of their joint inheritance when the other spouse passes away, the living spouse must first file the petition to establish their legal status as the spouse of the deceased.

The new paperwork acknowledged Allison as Stephen's surviving spouse, gave her "property passing" rights, and certified her name. However, they also said that "no administration of it is necessary."
Stephen passed away intestate, which means he didn't leave a will. In a filing earlier this year, Allison asked for a "determination of property passing to the surviving spouse" as well as "confirmation of property belonging to the surviving spouse."
It was determined by the court that his wife, 35, now owns half of the interest income from his Goldman Sachs Investment account as well as royalties from Cast and Crew Production Services, Disney Worldwide Services, Inc., GEP Talent Services, and SAG/AFTRA, per PEOPLE. According to the paperwork, Allison also acquires half of Stephen's interest in 100% of all shares of Stephen Boss Productions, Inc.
Stephen tragically died by suicide on December 13. He was 40. Allison exclusively revealed her husband's passing to PEOPLE on December 14. "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us," Allison said. "Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."
"To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt," she continued. "I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children."
Closing her statement, Allison shared a message for her husband. "Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you," she concluded.
