It's usually the kids pranking their teachers, however, this teacher changed roles to pull out the best prank ever!
The year 2020 has been a rollercoaster ride. It's like the events that were supposed to happen in a span of ten years, happened all at once. Starting from the coronavirus pandemic to the US elections, from a mysterious metal monolith being found in random places across the US and Europe to a former Israeli space security chief confirming the existence of aliens... a lot has happened.
Not only have the lives of adults changed, but children have had to deal with a lot too. They are studying from their homes rather than enjoying the school environment. Unlike school, learning from home can be quite dull and so recently, a teacher found a hilarious way to cheer up her class students.
The incident that happened during a virtual class is gathering a lot of laughs from students as well as parents. The third-grade teacher, Emma Ginder from Topeka, Kansas, has gone viral because of the prank she played on her children. And what was it that made the kids so happy? A fart sound!
According to People, in the video that has been shared more than 48,000 times on Facebook and received more than 7,000 comments, Emma asked her students to take out their notebooks. During the time when there was complete silence in the video as the kids were busy obeying their teacher's instructions, a loud farting sound can be heard.
As Emma tries to stifle her laugh, a boy asks, "What was that?" with another quipping in "I think she farted." As the class burst into giggles, Emma can be seen trying to defend herself by saying, "I don't know who that was," while one of the little girls chirps in, "I blame it on Miss. Ginder!"
The video is simply adorable and anyone who watches it cannot help but join the hearty laughs of the children. Sharing the video on her Facebook account, Ginder penned, "Some days you just have to play a toot sound during class to lighten the mood. Way too good not to share. Also, I apologize for having the maturity of an 8-year-old boy 🙃." Well, Emma... your attempt at starting your students' day with laughter made our day as well.
The comments are full of praises for the teacher who successfully made a normal class into an interesting one by grabbing their attention with the silly but hilarious prank, with one calling Emma "Teacher of the Year!", others gushed about how the innocent laughs of the kids filled them up with joy. While one wrote, "That is so funny - nothing better than giggling kiddos," another one penned, "Those laughs are priceless!!"
While talking to local news station KSNT, Emma revealed that all she wanted was to uplift the spirits of her students. "They’ve gotten to know me and they know that I’m one they should be comfortable with and they can joke around with," she said. "I love that we have that relationship with one another and I love that we can all laugh at a toot because it is funny no matter how old you are."
