Tom Cruise "Would Love to Meet Someone Special" After 3 Divorces | "He Believes the Right Girl Is Out There"

Tom Cruise has reportedly been single for a year and is looking for love again. "Tom would love to meet that someone special," an insider told OK Magazine. "He emphatically believes the right girl is out there." The Top Gun: Maverick star, had been married to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, and Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012, and all filed for divorce when they were 33 years old. 

The Mission Impossible star was most recently dating Hayley Atwell but they ended the relationship in June 2022. He is dad to his adopted children Connor and Isabella with Kidman, and his biological daughter Suri with Holmes. Cruise hasn't met his estranged daughter Suri in a decade. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes split in 2012, and it was reported that Holmes wanted to protect Suri from Scientology, a controversial religion.

Now Cruise is reported getting back into the dating world. Shakira and Cruise were spotted at the 2023 Miami Formula One Grand Prix. A source told Page Six that The Top Gun: Maverick star, 60, and the Hips Don’t Lie singer, 46, left the Miami Grand Prix starting grid (while the drivers were still being introduced ahead of the race) and spent time together in a private hospitality suite. The Colombian singer was seen having an animated conversation with Cruise in a VIP area alongside one of Shakira’s sons.

But according to another insider, the singer was not interested in Cruise's advances. The 46-year-old musician was "begging him to stop flirting with her" at the event the source told OK Magazine. The father-of-three was allegedly "giddy" after running into the iconic singer at the May 7 race. "He came away convinced they had a real connection they needed to build on," the source said. The insider alleged that Shakira was just being polite but had no romantic interest in the actor. The 60-year-old apparently even sent the singer a bouquet of flowers as he gushed over their "chemistry," but it was "too much" for the mom-of-two. "She doesn't want to embarrass or upset him, but there's no attraction or romance on her part — she was just being friendly," the source said. "She's flattered but not interested."

Shakira is freshly single after her split from ex, 36-year-old soccer star, Gerard Piqué. Shakira and Piqué announced in June 2022 that they were breaking up after 11 years together. “We regret to confirm that we are separating,” a statement from the pair read. “For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we request respect for privacy. Thank you for your understanding,” it added. It is rumored that Piqué had an affair with his now-girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
