Something similar happened to Oscar-nominated actor Tom Hardy when he lost his pet dog Woody, 6, due to a muscle disorder. After Woody's tragic demise, Hardy penned an emotional tribute for him thanking him for choosing them as his family and loving them more than he could ever know. He took to his blog to reveal how he first met him and how he became an inseparable part of his family.

"Jessica asked me was he a girl or a boy. It's a boy I said. How do you know? Erm… I can feel his Woodstock. great !!! let's call him Woodstock!!! And so it was,' he writes.

And when she was pregnant he guarded her fiercely," Daily Mail reports.
