Vin Diesel "took a couple of years" to find the right person and there was looking back once he met Paloma Jimenez. Defying all societal norms, the couple has been going stronger than ever.
Vin Diesel doesn't need a label to prove that love can last years as his 16-year romance with partner Paloma Jimenez provides all the proof we need. The 55-year-old actor and the 39-year-old Mexican-born model have three children together, and it looks like they have never felt the need for a marriage. Diesel revealed to Parade years ago that he deliberately took his time while searching for the perfect partner.
The Fast X star was shooting the movie Pacifier, a 2005 comedy about a Navy SEAL-turned-nanny when he began to yearn to have children. “While I was doing Pacifier it really started to bring out this desire to have a child,” he told the outlet in 2008. “It took a couple of years after that to find the right person and to hopefully be mature enough to be a great father which is really all you want to do.”
Diesel and Jimenez have been dating since 2007 and they've been inseparable ever since. At his xXx: Return of Xander Cage premiere in 2017, he gushed over his partner to Entertainment Tonight, "She's so stunningly beautiful, but the thing people don't realize is she's my rock, so she's so stunningly beautiful on the inside." He beamed, "She's just so wonderful in so many ways." While it's unclear how they have met, it appears the Fast & the Furious star has found the "right person" in Jiménez.
The actor shares daughters Hania and Pauline (named after his late Fast & Furious co-star and friend, Paul Walker) and son Vincent with Jimenez. Diesel was incredibly close with his former co-star and continues to do everything he can to keep his friend's legacy alive. Apart from naming his own daughter Pauline in honor of the late actor, he has also been a father figure to Walker's daughter. Meadow is Diesel's goddaughter, but he treats her like his own. He even walked her down the aisle on her wedding day.

Meadow recently posted a cute picture of Diesel on Instagram before posing on the Fast X red carpet in Rome on May 12, where she emotionally wrote, "I love you!"

Diesel shared that having her on the Fast X set was an emotional event for him, in an interview on the red carpet with E! News. Almost breaking down in the interview and holding back his tears, he said, "I am proud of the fact that she so beautifully wants to honor her father." Diesel added, "As a father, we hope that our children will want to honor us in that way."
