Her father 'had no idea she had even been born" and was excited to know about her.
Adrieanna Tyler, a 33-year-old woman from Pittsburgh, had never imagined finding her father so soon. But she did, thanks to a sleuth she met on a Facebook group. At the age of 13, she overheard her father refer to her as a stepdaughter. Since then, she wanted to know who her biological father was. She couldn't find out about him on her own. “I was desperate to find my real dad; it always mattered to me,” she said, according to Good News Network.
She searched on Facebook and found a page that helped unite estranged relatives. She did a DNA test and asked them for assistance. “This wonderful lady called Suzanne in the group helped me build my family tree and after doing another DNA test we found my aunt,” she said. “She said she’d put me in touch with my dad and I was so nervous! How do you just call someone and ask ‘are you my dad?” she said. Through her aunt, finally they were able to track down her father. It turned out to be a man named Joseph Frank, a police officer, living in Maitland, Florida.
According to Adrieanna, her father 'had no idea she had even been born" and was excited to know about her. “When he found out about me, he was so excited, and it was such a relief. I felt so vulnerable before, in case he wanted nothing to do with me,” she said. He was not only happy to know about her but also about his two grandchildren.

They both spent the next month texting and video-calling each other daily. After this, Joseph decided to travel from Florida to Pennsylvania just to Adrieanna her for the first time. “We spent some time getting to know each other before finally meeting and it was just perfect. It felt like a dream.”
They met at a local festival near her home. “We bonded right away, and I finally feel I can start to heal now. Everything ended exactly how it was supposed to,” she said. They also enjoyed a pizza together and she came to know that she has two half-sisters as well.
Joseph said: "It's been pretty amazing. God works in mysterious ways. At the time when Adrieanna came into my life, I was going through a tough breakup and I really needed that," according to Independent. "That part of my heart got filled again when I found out about my daughter," he added. The father-daughter duo are planning a thanksgiving together and also holidays in the summer.

"I had vowed I would spend the rest of my life searching for my dad – I didn’t want to die knowing I hadn’t tried. I just kept thinking that there is a man out there who deserves to know he has two grandchildren. "I feel like I can finally start to heal now I'm not wondering why he didn’t want me - when all this time it was because he didn’t even know I existed. Everything happened the way it was supposed to," said Adrieanna.
