Pregnancy is an extremely significant and crucial period in a person's life. Not only is it physically challenging but also emotionally draining. It's the phase when you're carrying a new life inside of you and that comes with sudden bouts of cravings, emotions, and sickness. That's why it's absolutely important to have a strong support system that will instantly make things better. There are many men who have stepped up to this task but most of their gestures go unnoticed. That's why Twitter user @penny4yourtweet asked mothers everywhere to share instances when men in their life outdid themselves during their pregnancy. And the result was pure gold.
"Ladies tell me one good thing your husband or a male figure in your life did for you during pregnancy/labor/postpartum. Just want to see something," wrote the Twitter user. For some, the replies were an eye-opener as @_hidayarh exclaimed, "Good men still exist!" Mentioned below is a list of the best responses:
1.
All of my brothers satisfied all of my cravings no matter what time it was. One of my younger brothers made himself in charge of ensuring I was having my daily veg intake and was so attentive to how I was feeling. 🥺💞

Brings almost everything I ask for (cravings). Gives massages. Stays awake when I'm unable to sleep. Keeps reminding me that it's gonna be worth it and you'll be a great mom. Comforts me whenever I cry (for no apparent reason). Etc etc etc.

ALHAMDULILLAH.
Seriously!! During pregnancy there's this rush of hormones due to which you do that so often. He keeps asking the reason and when I fail to figure out, he just hugs and tells me it's gonna be fine...

Dad already helps out a lot at home. When my mum had us, he really stepped up & pretty much handled everything. Cooking, helping to feed the babies (us), changing diapers & also resumed with his usual duties. 😌✨❤️
4.
My lovely other half took care of all my meals and the guests post partum including the special foods (like panjeeri) my mum made for the first two weeks, by the youngest/fifth he was waking up every night with baby because Armageddon wouldn’t have woken me

When i had my 1st miscarriage last year, he would carry me around instead of letting me walk for two weeks, prepared warm herbal water for me to bathe, cook food, puts on socks to my feet before i fell asleep and warming pads around my waist. We are married for almost 5 years now

When the baby was born he whisked him away, cleaned him, clothed him while I was knocked out. The way he talked to him made everything seem a lot less frightening ❤

I hate vomiting and morning sickness with my second son was awful. Each episode would send me into a panic and tears. He would clean up behind me each time, wash my face and let me be dramatic no matter how many times it had happened that day.

First and second pregnancy, he prepares our meal for the whole of 1st trimester, coupled with all the other care...2nd Postpartum, he tried his best to make sure I was comfortable and provided everything I asked for, may Allah bless him for me

I was sick in my husband's brand new car. He took me home. Helped me in the bath and I got cleaned up. Cried loads (no idea why). He cleaned his car (no issues) & made me something to eat. I don't know why but that particular time sticks out for me. There were lots of others too.

Woke up one morning to hear my baby crying and I started crying too because we’d had a hard night. He was getting ready for work but picked her up, and I fell asleep while he took her away, settled her to sleep even tho it made him rlly late for work

I was at my parents house my last trimester. I used to drink red raspberry leaf tea everyday for the last few weeks since I heard it eases labour, my younger brother would make me a cup every single day no matter the time & my dad would bring me breakfast in bed everyday. 🤧😩

He got me every single thing I craved. He made me breakfast every morning before he went to work. We would go walking after work together for exercise. He got me all my favourite food when was in labour even though I couldn't eat. He really stepped up alhamdulilah

During my third trimester, I couldn’t reach my feet anymore so after a shower my husband would always rub lotion on my legs and feet for me & if I needed to go out he would always help me with my socks & shoes.

7m pregnant & on bedrest for my 30th b-day. To make is special, my husband bought 30 presents, and presented them to me all day long. They ranged from diapers and my favorite pens to a pair of earrings wrapped in a huge box. It was the best birthday ever.

My husband is the best father to our daughters alhamdulilah. I love watching him with them & they absolutely adore him. Twin pregnancy was so so hard but it would have been worse if I didn't have him to help me

He held my hand all the way through, twice, although the first time was pretty traumatic and he didn’t want to do it again. But we were in a foreign country and I didn’t trust the doctors so he put my safety first. The third was an elective c-section, and he supported my decision

My husband was a real champ during my pregnancy but an even bigger blessing after Allahuma barik Lahum. My dad, FILs and uncles would always take my baby for a bit so I could get some rest Alhamdullilah. May Allah swt bless them and protect them all 💕
