Newborn babies tend to take on features of either their parents or grandparents. Much of their infancy is spent with family speculating who their feature resemble. But a woman from Northern Ireland couldn't help but wonder if her baby looked like actor Woody Harrelson and she turned to internet to confirm if others also saw what she was seeing.

On August 3, 2022, Danielle Grier Mulvenna tweeted a smiling photo of her infant daughter, Cora, beside a picture of Woody Harrelson laughing in the film Zombieland, according to CBS News. "Ok but how does our daughter look like Woody Harreslon," she wrote.

That was all it took for the internet to go beserk and soon enough the tweet reached the star himself.

He took a screenshot of the tweet and shared it on his Instagram handle along with a sweet little poem titled "Ode to Cora."

"You're an adorable child / Flattered to be compared," he wrote. "You have a wonderful smile / I just wish I had your hair." The mother left a comment under Harrelson's post, thanking him for the kind gesture. "You've made our day ❤️ can't wait to show her this when she's older, you have another fan for life xxx"

"It's not every day Woody Harrelson [sic] writes your daughter a poem," Mulvenna tweeted after her initial post went viral. In a follow up tweet, she added, "Cora says, thank you all so much for the likes and retweets and also that she doesn't always look like Woody Harreslon, it's just that when she does...she really really does."

“Plot twist: you’re the real father,” one person joked. “This is wholesome !!!” a fan wrote. “Just like you but with more hair! 😊,” a third added. “Your baby doppelganger,” someone said, with another agreeing, “I actually thought that was a young pictures of woody!”

"I hate to break it to you but that IS woody harrelson, he’s been suffering silently from acute Benjamin button disease. Thank you for spreading awareness of this rare and often misunderstood disease," added another.

When Mulvenna shared the post, she probably never expected it to get to the actor himself, but this truly is a pleasant surprise, isn't it? And now, Cora will always be able to boast of how her mom had Harrelson write her a poem.
